Ich bin sehr überrascht über dieses Messer. Eigentlich wollte ich nur die Klinge, um ein 91mm als Einhand zu modifizieren. Das Messer liegt aber derart gut in der Hand und bietet meines Erachtens den bestmöglichen Kompromiss aus Klingengröße und "Sack" Tauglichkeit. Momentan mein Lieblings EDC Messer. Vorschlag an Vic: 42a konforme Version mit Einhandöffnung. Modder können den Liner Lock aber auch einfach durch ein Blech wie auf der anderen Seite ersetzen.

Große Überraschung

I always carry a pocket knife, and since I purchased the Sentinel it has become my EDC daily choice.  The blade arrived razor sharp, and the handle is comfortable and easy to control.  It's also large enough for almost every task, and the locking blade was a must-have for me.

It rides well clipped on the inside of my pocket, and is everything Swiss quality should be.  I also purchased a black paracord pendant that I attached to the key ring - which I highly recommend.

after losing my old serrated sentinel OHT I ordered another non-serrated one. To my surprise it came with a clip. I must say it's really handy to know the exact position of the knife. The knife is sharp, much slimmer than my trailmaster and great value. I use it every day 10-20 times to my full satisfaction. Highly recommended.

I have owned this knife for about two years now and use it for daily carry.

These are the top points for this knife:

1: Clip: The clip on this knife is fantastic. I chose this knife for the Victorinox name and the clip on the knife. Other than the Hunter Pro, this is the only knife from Victorinox that comes with one. I actually wish they would put clips on all their knives as I believe this would make them more functional.

2: One Hand Opening: This is extremely useful and functional.

3: Blade size: Large blade is useful

This knife is lightweight and clips into jeans well for daily carry. It has held up well.

Fantastic Knife

O mais leve da categoria! 
A lâmina de 3mm na parte mais grossa é forte e bem afiada, mas possui folga na base quando travada aberta. 
É um modelo One Hand, possível de ser aberto com apenas uma mão, mas, para destros, fechar com a direita não é tarefa fácil, e pode cortar os dedos ao tentar, pois, a trava (liner lock) é feita para canhotos, e destrava com o polegar da esquerda para a direita, ou seja, One Hand para mão esquerda. 
A empunhadura é boa, mas a estrutura é oca, de plástico fosco (grip pouco bom) e frágil, passando pouca segurança, e isso, aliado a um logotipo impresso no plástico deixa claro a proposta de um “canivete simples de baixo custo com upgrade de clip”. 
A argola habilita sua utilização com o Belt Hanger Multiclip (acessório comprado a parte) na cintura e o canivete alojado no bolso, possibilitando saque rápido com segurança (se escapar da mão não cai no chão) para descascar uma fruta ou usá-lo em tarefas de curta distância. 
É, digamos, um "canivete slim", com corpo de 12mm de altura (17mm na parte do Clip), fechado tem 111mm e 196mm aberto, e exatos 78g; um “peso pena” da categoria.
Visualmente é lindo e elegante, mas, os pontos negativos, além de justificarem o valor mais baixo, na minha opinião, tornam a ferramenta pouco confiável para vários métodos de utilização, incluindo e em especial a defesa pessoal.
Assim como todo Victorinox que tenho e conheço, eu esperava um exemplar de construção sólida e inquestionável. Por não ser uma peça admirável nas mãos, como de costume proporcionado pela marca, foi decepcionante.

Bom Custo X Benefício para quem busca uma ferramenta útil, leve, com tamanho aceitável e clip de fixação.

This one is ok .. the blade good belt clip is strong , my only gripe is the body feels a little cheap and flimsy .

Most impressed by this knife.  Well manufactured and good attention to detail.  I've yet to figure out how to safely open it one handed though.

Sharp blade and robust knife

La he usado diariamente hace un año y es realmente útil en toda ocasión. Comidas, camping, pesca, excursiones, manualidades, etc. La afilo cada 3 semanas aproximadamente con piedra y el acero y el filo se mantienen tal como la primera vez. Con práctica se puede abrir rápidamente y cerrar con una mano. Es verdad que al abrir suena un click, pero esto nunca me ha causado inconveniente.

Das ist das beste Messer die ich bis jetzt hatte. 
Kein wellenschlif, ist gut zum selber schärfen.
Clip ist genial.
Zahnstocher, Pinsette, mehr braucht man nicht, ( vielleicht noch eine Säge fürs Holz).
Und ein Ranger Klinge sieht kantiger , moderner aus.

Super Messer

I would have rated this knife as very good or even excellent except for the pocket clip. The clip is not securely attached to the body of the knife so it has a tenancy to move and sometimes comes off the body of the knife when carried inside the pocket of my blue jeans after sitting (at my desk at work or driving). It can be very difficult to slide the clip back into the knife handle. When it came off, I could see that it has a hook on one end where it attaches under the handle cover. Using a screw or two to attach the clip to the body of the knife would solve this. I'd attach a photo if possible. The locking feature should also be moved to the other side as it's awkward to close the blade using two hands. If you don't need a pocket clip, buy the other version of this knife without the clip, you won't be disappointed with an otherwise very good knife.

Great knife except for the clip

Très bel outil léger, fin et performant mais handicapé par un défaut et un gros défaut.

- Le bruit. L'ouverture claque très fort, tout le monde se retourne à la cantine, c'est un peu gênant.

- Le gros défaut : c'est un couteau pour gaucher. Le verrouillage de la lame est monté à l'envers, il faut le passer dans la main gauche pour fermer ou fermer à deux mains. Vraiment dommage. Victorinox devrait au moins nous laisser le choix en prévoyant une option "droitier".

very slim with clip, larger blade, very easy with one hand to open the blade, the grip is very comfortable. and i like victorinox knife is anti rust.

Great Knife

Je possède ce couteau depuis quelques mois. Je le porte tous les jours. Il est discret et se laisse oublier accroché à une poche. La lame est d'excellente qualité. Sa simplicité et sa discrétion sont ça force. Ne lui demandez pas autre chose que de couper, car c'est tout ce qu'il sait faire... mais il le fait tellement bien. A recommander à ceux qui veulent découvrir tout ce que l'on peut faire avec une simple lame.

Un compagnon pour tous les jours

I have a lot of knives from a lot of manufacturers. I'm not a collector, I'm a user. I have carried a Victorinox in my pocket since the 1960's, mostly the classic. I bought this knife a year or so ago and use it as a money clip. It is an excellent all around knife. I needed to cut a sample of a rubber conveyor belt that was 9mm thick and had two reinforcing layers. The person I was with said he would find a utility knife. I said "I got this" and cut off 100mm piece in one pass. His eyes got real big and he said," I gotta see that knife". Blade geometry plays a huge role in the application of how you use a particular knife. The geometry of this blade is perfectly suited for really fine cutting. I did hone the back at the point to put a sharp point on it. Like all Victorinox knives it comes razor sharp and will hold an edge for a long time. You can have my money but you can't have my money clip, it fights back.
